Renacimiento
New England IPA with Guanabana and Zappa Hops

RENACIMIENTO is this year's collaboration with Casita Cultura Latina and their annual Día De Los Muertos celebration! Renacimiento is a New England IPA (6.5% abv) brewed with guanábana - a popular tropical fruit often known as soursop - and Zappa hops.
Zappa is a type of Neomexicanus hops, which are hops that were originally indigenous to the American Southwest - an area whose dry climate would seemingly not be conducive to growing hops. We used this hop as a tribute to the resilient Indigenous and Latin American cultures in that region.
Renacimiento features a zesty tropical fruit aroma with notes of pineapple, banana, and strawberry. It's juicy, citrusy, and just a tiny bit tart!
"Renacimiento," Spanish for "rebirth," is also the theme for this year's Día De Los Muertos festival. As our friends at Casita put it: "Renacimiento is an end and a beginning. As old life passes on, new life may take flight. In our 'renacimientos,' there may be grief, longing, nostalgia—but there is also new hope, light, excitement, and discovery."
