We're Reopening - Here's What You Need To Know

Updated March 2, 2021

The taproom at Redemption Rock Brewing Co. is open, and we’re complying with the ever-changing COVID-19 state and city regulations. Below, you can find a full account of the rules we are following, the rules we need customers to follow, and other FAQs about how things are working.

Please review this post before visiting, and if you have any questions, please email us at hello@redemptionrock.beer or call us at (774) 530-6958.

Cheers!

COVID Taproom Rules

  • While on premises and not actively eating or drinking, we (and the city, and the state) require everyone in the party to wear a mask. If you are sitting at the table and not eating or drinking, or if you have to get up for any reason, you must put your mask on.

  • Per state regulation, we will have to limit your stay to 90 minutes.

  • Guests will not be permitted to walk around the space, visit other tables, or consume any products while not seated. Children are required to stay with their party at all times. There is also no bar seating allowed at this time.

  • Please respect a 6 ft. distance between other guests and staff whenever possible.

  • The maximum party size is six people including children and non-drinking adults.

  • For the safety of other guests and our staff, we ask that you do not come to our facility if you are feeling unwell.

Other FAQs

What steps are you taking to keep everyone safe?

We’re taking several steps to ensure everyone’s health:

  • Staff will be wearing masks throughout the entirety of their shifts and regularly washing their hands.

  • We will be taking and logging staff’s temperatures before each shift. Any staff showing symptoms or otherwise feeling unwell will be asked to quarantine at home.

  • Every seating area - including tables, seats, YO! flags, and menus - will be thoroughly sanitized between groups.

  • Other surfaces - e.g. door handles, bathroom fixtures, the back bar area - will be thoroughly sanitized on at least an hourly basis.

  • We will have hand sanitizer dispensers stationed throughout the taproom.

  • We’ve reformatted our taproom so that all seating areas are at least six ft. apart, removed all barstools, and will be implementing table service.

Table service, you say?

Yup! When you arrive, please wait at the front table to be assisted. Once seated, our staff will explain how to order food and drinks (we have a real nifty flag system), and can help with any other questions.

Are you taking reservations?

We are not taking reservations. Seating will be first-come first-serve.

Please feel free to call us at (774) 530-6958 before you visit to see if there is a wait for seating.

What are your hours?

Sun-Thursday: 12-8 pm; Fri-Sat: 12-10 pm

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Same rules as usual: Well-behaved and controllable dogs are allowed in the café side of the taproom and on the outdoor patio. Check out our dog policy for additional information.

Can we still bring in our own food?

Yes! However, state law requires a food purchase in order to purchase beer. You can check out our food menu at https://www.redemptionrock.beer/beer-and-cafe. If we have a food truck on site, you can purchase food from them to satisfy the state’s food requirements.

Also, to avoid having people bump into each other around the waste bins, we ask that you leave trash at your table so our staff can clear it after your visit.

Are you offering curbside pickup and home delivery?

Yes, curbside pickup is available for both beer and merchandise, and home delivery is available Auburn, Berlin, Boylston, Clinton, Grafton, Holden, Hudson, Lancaster, Leicester, Leominster, Marlboro, Millbury, Northborough, Northbridge, Oxford, Paxton, Shrewsbury, Spencer, Sterling, Sutton, Upton, West Boylston, Westborough, and Worcester.

For home delivery - all orders will be delivered each Friday between 12-4 pm. Place your order any time during the week before noon on Friday and you’ll receive it Friday afternoon!

Order curbside pickup and home delivery at https://www.toasttab.com/redemption-rock-brewery-co/v3.

How does tipping work now?

As usual, our staff does not take tips and cash tips will be donated to a monthly local nonprofit. If you wish to leave a cash tip, the best way will be to leave it at your table so our staff can safely collect, sanitize, and set it aside.

If you want to show appreciation for great service, here are some ideas!

  • Wear a mask and follow the rules!

  • Tell your friends about the great time you had and help spread the word.

  • Purchase beer-to-go or merchandise. Any support is hugely appreciated.

  • Leave us an awesome review on Yelp, Facebook, Google, etc.

Do you have outdoor seating?

YUP. We have a new outdoor patio area and it’s awesome, and open when weather permits. Same rules as inside: first-come first-served, parties of 6 or less, and see the host inside to be seated. Also, please note that we don’t yet have a roof or any heaters in our patio yet, so come prepared to brave the elements (and stay tuned for future improvements)!

Can I buy merchandise?

Yes, feel free to browse our merchandise area. Just make sure you’re wearing a mask, please don’t touch anything unless you’re planning to purchase it, and limit browsing to one party at a time.

Do you offer gift cards?

We sure do. Physical gift cards can be purchased in the taproom, or you can purchase eGift Cards at https://www.toasttab.com/redemption-rock-brewery-co/giftcards?utmCampaign=onlineOrdering

Will board games and cornhole be available?

Unfortunately, we’ve had to remove board games and cornhole from the taproom for the time being. That said, you’re more than welcome to bring your own board games or cards games!

What if I forget my mask?

To be up front with this - everyone needs to wear a mask if they’re not actively eating or drinking (that includes when seated at a table waiting for your order), no exceptions. That’s just how it is, and if you don’t wear one we won’t be able to seat you. That said, we will have paper masks on hand for those who forget to bring theirs (it happens).

Anything else I need to know?

Just the usuals: check out our parking info if you’re unfamiliar, remember to bring a valid ID, and get ready to have a great time.
