What's a Liege Waffle (lee-ehj)? It is a dough based, yeast-risen waffle; it's full of buttery goodness and more similar to a brioche dough. There are pearl sugars mixed into the dough that, when the waffle is cooked, caramelize on the outside of the waffle. The waffle is dense and chewy, yet still fluffy from the yeast. Trust us, these ain't yo mama's waffles!
